We have several social bookmarking profiles associated with the littledetails Liverpool SEO web designs account. Each of the profiles also needs a few links to it otherwise it is just an orphan page.
The accounts are generally listed under either our littledetails or freomob names such as:
http://www.delicious.com/freomob
http://www.stumbleupon.com/stumbler/freomob/
Each of these public profiles adds a little more to our overall SEO strategy by providing Google and the other search engines more ways to find each of the sites in our portfolio. As we know it is the links that provide the power to any websites search engine ranking, but we believe there is a slightly different explanation of this than is normally accepted. We think Google counts the number of different ways it can find any web page to decide on its importance. The more links you have the more ways Google can find you. The stronger the sites from which you obtain links the more those sites are found by Google the easier it is for Google to find you.
