you may be thinking why such a long domain name, but these are sound reasons behind such a selection. these are the three main keywords the site will be optimised for. we would have prefered to have the words reversed, but the fact we could register the domain with the three keywords in any order should be seen as a bonus.

there is some suggestion that google likes to see the keywords in the domain name. this can only give the site an initial boost in google.

additiaonally, during searches, these keywords are highlighted in bold on the results pages. and so, at the very least, if the user sees these words in the domain, they are more likely to click.

however, the overwhelming reason for using the main keywords in the url, is for the inbound link advantage. despite the many requests to webmasters, there are many who do not give you keyword rich anchor text links. instead, they use the domain name as the ancho text. the solution? have your main keywords as the domain name, separate them with hyphens, and every link, even when they just use the domain, becomes a keyword rich link juice providing seo friendly link, just like the one in this post.
